Dr. Kristof Schwartz PhD

Dr. Kristof Schwartz, with a background in both medical studies and a Ph.D. in psychology is an educator, who finds great fulfillment in supervising groups of motivated students and exploring intriguing research questions together. His research focuses on the psychophysiological effects of traumatic experiences on the human body, with a particular interest in understanding pain processing and somatization in individuals with previous traumatic events. Driven by a desire for collaboration, he actively seeks out opportunities for both international and national partnerships with fellow researchers and universities to advance scientific knowledge in these areas.
